Assignments on non-ferrous metals have been undertaken by Mackay & Schnellmann Pty Limited for such elements as titanium, tin, tungsten, aluminium and so on.

Examples of recent assignments on non-ferrous metals are:

WESTERN AUSTRALIA, 2001
An appraisal was prepared on the potential of two heavy mineral sands properties in the southwestern part of Western Australia in the vicinity of the town of Busselton. This assignment was carried out for a major Australian explorer and involved research and assessment of the results of work completed by previous explorers including due diligence on a medium size quantified resource. Advice was also given on areas with potential that were not then held under tenements that resulted in the client applying for an additional Exploration Licence.

SOUTH AUSTRALIA, 1998
A photogeological interpretation was completed for an area of the Murray Basin in order to generate targets for mineral sands exploration and for more regional target definition. The assignment was carried out on behalf of an Australian exploration company.

INDONESIA, 1998
An analysis was carried out of drill hole data for a bauxite deposit in West Kalimantan for resource estimation and block modelling purposes. The assignment was part of the due diligence procedure in connection with the privatisation of P.T. Aneka Tambang.

WESTERN AUSTRALIA, 1991
An assessment was undertaken of the potential for heavy mineral sands deposits of a group of tenements near Denmark on the south coast of Western Australia. The assignment involved research of the records of previous explorers in the area as well as basic geological considerations to produce an assessment of the prospectivity of the property. In addition to mineral sands, the gold and tin potentials were also assessed.

WESTERN AUSTRALIA, 1989
Financial models were prepared for the late exploration stage Buddadoo vanadium and titanium deposit near Geraldton in Western Australia on behalf of the then owners. Modelling involved the preparation of discounted cash flows and calculation of net present values. Purposes of the study were both for financing ends and to direct exploration towards the most prospective part of this large deposit.
