Independent Geological
Reports
Many aspects of corporate activities require the
preparation of independent geological reports for purposes such
as public floats, takeovers and bank financing. Mackay & Schnellmann
Pty Limited has prepared more than 80 such reports and has considerable
expertise in this field. Our independent geological reports are
undertaken to best practice standards following the guidelines of
the Valmin Code of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy
and the standards laid down by Australian regulatory bodies.
Examples of recent independent geological reports
are:
NORTHERN TERRITORY & WESTERN AUSTRALIA, 2001

Australian company proposing to float. The company has alluvial
garnet deposits near Alice Springs in the Northern Territory and
heavy mineral sands deposits in the Southwest of Western Australia.

the Eastern Goldfields with other properties prospective for limestone,
magnesite and platinum deposits.
SOUTH AUSTRALIA, WESTERN AUSTRALIA & QUEENSLAND,

On behalf of Gunson Resources Limited, an Independent Geologist's
Report was prepared for a prospectus. The company had properties
with base metal, mineral sands and cobalt potential. The main project
was located in South Australia with copper, lead and zinc mineralisation
occurring in stratiform deposits and in basement deposits associated
with granitic intrusives similar to Olympic Dam. The Western Australian
properties were a base metal project near Onslow and a mineral sands
project near Coburn. The cobalt project was located at Mount Tabor
in Queensland.

Halmahera, the operating mineral sands mines were on the southern
coast of Java and the bauxite deposits were located near Pontianak
