John Garlick
MSc DIC FIMM CEng MCIMM MAIME FAusIMM MMICA
John Garlick is Managing Director of Mackay
& Schnellmann Pty Limited and an economic geologist with over
30 years experience.
John has completed professional assignments in over 20 countries
in Africa, Asia, Europe, North America and Australasia. He has worked
on a wide range of commodities including diamonds and other gemstones,
gold, base metals, coal, heavy mineral sands, tin, tungsten, platinum,
phosphate, abrasives, kaolin, glass and foundry sands and magnesite.
He has considerable experience in prospectivity analysis and in
developing and implementing exploration programmes. John has completed
many technical and valuation reports for company prospectuses as
well as technical reports for minerals companies and regulatory
authorities.
John has acted as an expert witness and as a UNDP diamond consultant.
He has had several articles published on diamond exploration and
the resource potential of South and Southeast Asia.
